Electronic mail system -
A computer software application that allows electronic messages to be
communicated from one computer to another.?
Electronic mail (email)-
Any message, form, attachment, or other communication sent, received, or stored
within an electronic mail system.
Purpose:
OCPA Board maintains electronic mail group
services for the purpose of enhancing coordination and maintaining effective
communications in support of the missions of The OCPA.
Prohibited Activities:
The following activities are prohibited by
OCPA policy:
Do not send email that is intimidating or
harassing.?
Do not use email for conducting a personal
business.
Do not use email for purposes of political
lobbying or campaigning.
Do not violate copyright laws by
inappropriately distributing protected works.
Do not pose as anyone other than oneself
when sending email, except when authorized to send messages for another when
serving in OCPA Board administrative support role.
The following activities are prohibited
because they impede the functioning of network communications and the efficient
operations of electronic mail systems:
Do not send or forward chain letters.
Do not send unsolicited messages to members
except as required to conduct OCPA business.
Do not send excessively large messages.?
Do not send or forward email that is likely
to contain computer viruses.
Prohibited activities identified in this
section are not all inclusive.? OCPA board has the right to define the
violation of the specific email policy.? OCPA group electronic
mail must never be used in a manner that violates Yahoo email group System
policy, state law or federal law.?
Appropriate disciplinary action will be
taken for misuse of OCPA group email System resources by the OCPA Board of
Directors.
Electronic Mail Administration
The OCPA Board administers an electronic
mail group available for use by all subscribed members and friends.

Our group email is a forum for sharing
information. We want to provide a forum that will be an educational and
enjoyable experience for all of our subscribed members and friends. By
participating in our group email you are agreeing to comply with our rules and
policies.
Use of Content
By providing content to our group email
system, you have granted OCPA unrestricted use of that material including your
name and hometown. We reserve the right to modify, reproduce and distribute
materials posted to our group email services.
Children Under 13
We are concerned with children's privacy.
Under federal law children under 13 years old may not participate in our
discussion groups.
Jurisdiction
This site is controlled and operated by
Yahoo. Inc. Those who choose to access our site from other locations do so on
their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
