OCPA Membership Guide

会员申请及会籍说明

  1. 申请人须在线提交会员申请，并同意遵守 OCPA会员义务及相关规定。

  2. 完成会费缴纳后，申请将进入审核程序；经 OCPA 审核批准后，会员资格正式生效。

  3. 会员资格自生效之日起有效期为 12 个月。会员可登录 OCPA 网站会员账户查看电子会员卡及会员信息。

  4. 会员资格仅限本人使用，不得转让或与他人共享。

  5. 会费一经缴纳，除法律另有规定外，概不退还。

  6. 会员到期后，如需继续享受会员权益，请续缴下一会员年度会费。

  7. 提交会员申请即表示您已阅读并同意 OCPA会员义务、隐私政策及相关规定。

Membership Application & Terms

  • Submit the online membership application and agree to comply with the OCPA Membership Bylaws and related policies.

  • After payment is received, your application will be reviewed. Membership becomes active upon OCPA approval.

  • Membership is valid for 12 months from the effective date. Members can log in to their OCPA account to access their digital membership card and membership information.

  • Membership is personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared.

  • Membership dues are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

  • To continue receiving member benefits, membership must be renewed before or after expiration.

  • ​Privacy & Data Use. By submitting this form, you consent to OCPA collecting and using your contact information—such as name, address, email, WeChat ID and phone number—and membership details (e.g., membership type, earliest year, interests) solely for membership administration, event communications, and required record-keeping.

Membership Benefits

  • Free admission to OCPA’s annual series of events, including the Mid-Autumn Annual Meeting and Celebration, where members receive a complimentary mooncake, as well as the Spring Outing, BBQ, various seminars, and other activities.

  • Members also enjoy discounted ticket prices for the OCPA Spring Festival Gala.

  • You gain qualifications for applying to the Asian American Heritage Council (AAHC) of Central Florida Scholarships;

  • You can access many volunteer and community service opportunities for youth as well as adults;

  • You can enjoy the OCPA member discounts available at many of the Chinese Businesses, Grocery stores, Restaurants etc. in Orlando.

  • Advantaged enrollment in OCPA conducted performance for the Spring Festival Gala, Mid-Autumn Festival party and all other community celebration and activities.

会员义务

  1. 支持协会宗旨和公益活动；

  2. 参加 OCPA 举办或协办的各项活动，应遵守 OCPA 的各项政策、活动规定、场地管理要求及适用法律法规，

  3. 维护协会声誉；

  4. 尊重其他会员，以尊重、包容和文明的方式与他人互动；

OCPA 保留对违反相关规定或影响活动安全、秩序及他人权益的行为采取适当措施的权利，包括拒绝参加、要求离场、暂停或终止会员资格等。

Membership Responsibilities

  • Comply with the OCPA‘s bylaws, policies, and applicable regulations;

  • Support the mission, goals, and community service activities of the Association;

  • Uphold and protect the reputation and integrity of the Association;

  • Respect fellow members and maintain a positive, inclusive, and collaborative community environment.

OCPA reserves the right to take appropriate actions against any conduct that violates applicable policies or regulations, or that affects the safety, order, or rights of other participants, including denying participation, requiring individuals to leave an event, suspending membership, or terminating membership privileges.​

OCPA活动免责条款

  1. 本人自愿参加OCPA举办的各类活动（包括但不限于聚餐、晚会、讲座、烧烤等），了解参与可能存在轻微受伤、食源过敏引发的疾病或财产损失等一般风险，并自行负责人身安全与财物保管。

  2. 本人同时对随行家人（包括儿童及长者）的安全与行为负全部责任，并同意他们的参与为本人自愿决定。

  3. 在法律允许范围内，本人同意免除并不追究OCPA、其理事、志愿者及场地方的相关责任（除非存在重大过失或故意行为）。

  4. 本人亦同意OCPA可使用活动中拍摄的照片或视频用于非商业宣传，如不愿被使用，可提前书面通知主办方。

OCPA Event Liability Waiver

  • ​By participating in any OCPA event (including but not limited to potlucks, galas, seminars, BBQs, or outdoor gatherings), I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and may involve ordinary risks such as minor injuries, foodborne illness, food allergy, or property damage. I am responsible for my own safety, health, and belongings.

  • I also understand that my accompanying family members, including children and seniors, are under my care and supervision at all times. I accept full responsibility for their safety, conduct, and participation in all event activities. 

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the Orlando Chinese Professionals Association (OCPA), its officers, volunteers, and venue partners from any liability, claim, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • I also grant OCPA permission to use event photos or videos containing my likeness for non-commercial promotional purposes, unless I request otherwise in writing.
